Glycerine
Glycerine has antimicrobial and antiviral properties; it is widely used in FDA approved wound and burn treatments. Additionally, it is used here to soften the skin and prevent the alcohol from evaporating too quickly, allowing it to be as effective as possible.
On the flip side, using too much glycerine creates a barrier around the virus and actually protects the virus.

Does it work?...Yes - here's the proof
We put our heart and soul into creating the best quality product at an affordable price, but we know this is a world of social media hype, so we wanted you to be doubly confident. We are talking about the health and safety of your staff, customers, family and friends.
So we took Zog72 to an independent Lab for testing. Why? Because they are certified by the South African Health Products Regulatory Authority as well as being ISO certified. They know what they are doing and they have been around for 28 years. Three powerful bacterial species were put into a petri dish and then Zog72 was sprayed onto them. They were then looked at closely to count the bacteria that had survived the spray. None did. Then to take it one step further, the previous sprayed bacteria were put into a “Bacteria ICU”, basically a nutrious broth where they would be nice and warm and have every chance to recover and grow. They were left there for an additional 48 hours. After 48 hours not one of the three bacteria had come back to life.
In case you are wondering why Zog72 was not tested against a virus rather than a bacteria. Basically it is just way to dangerous and ethically dubious to test with live viruses. This is not a Hollywood thriller movie, this is real life! Well, Zog72 passed the independent test and the original may be viewed on request.
